What We Do.

We can make just about anything work as long as its possible and legal.  We are also very mindful that pricing is something that needs to be fair for everyone.  Death is a time of great vulnerability and as such should be handled with great care and respect, not used as a marketing opportunity. Please talk to us about your circumstances and we will assist in any way we can.

Services and Pricing

We offer all the services you would expect from any funeral home.  Continuity of care is hugely important to how we conduct ourselves.

Families can rest assured that their loved one is receiving personal care from our small but dedicated staff.

No service Direct (bare essential) Cremation $3650.

This is a dignified, lower cost alternative to a full funeral service.  It includes transfer from place of death (within 100kms from Sorell) to our facilities, where body care is given using only natural products and essential oils.  We will dress your loved one in clothing of your choice; and at a suitable time transfer them for cremation (with potential for a viewing enroute) in a bioboard cremation pod. Our service also includes the cremation fees, doctor’s fee for cremation application, administration, registration of death with Birth Deaths and Marriages and providing Death Certificate.  

FULl Funeral Services starting from $4600.
plus disbursements

A more traditional approach to funeral care.  This normally requires more time and staff to arrange and as such, costs are generally higher.  We always encourage families to participate and engage in as much of the process they feel comfortable with.  The end result is always a more personal and rewarding experience, where family members feel more empowered and in control of the care of their loved one.

We liaise with all cemetery owners to procure plots as required, we attend burials as part of overall service funeral service provided.

MEmorial services

Often a memorial service is held following a no service cremation.  We can certainly assist in all aspects of planning and holding a memorial service including: attending staff, live streaming, montages, booklets catering and the provision of a Celebrant.  

DISbursements

The usual types of disbursements can include (but not limited to) any of the following: Crematorium fees, cremation application, newspaper notices, venue hire, flowers, service sheets or booklets, live streaming, catering, equipment hire, guest books.

ASsistance with a more family led approach to care and services 

There are times when a family knows what they are hoping for but may not know how to execute their wishes.  Our role is to help explore options and to create something that is as true and unique to the individual in death as they were in life.

Vigil support and assistance

Holding vigil can be a powerful way to support a loved one through their transition beyond the threshold. We can assist in co-ordination and attendance.

‘doula’ services (non Medical)

Sometimes known as ‘doula’ services, for those who are feeling alone or isolated as they approach their end of life or just need a bit of moral support for themselves and/or their families. An Amicus Moriendi or ‘Companion of the Dying’ is a non medical role to offer support, advocacy and companionship along the road to crossing the threshold.

Home based death Care Starting from $1100

24 hour support, care and guidance, use of ‘cooling’ apparatus, assistance with paperwork and transport.
